“Best wishes to Comrade Stalin on his birthday”,  December 1949 card from a lady in Prudnik to the Soviet Embassy.
An interesting “show and tell” item.  Thousands of such cards were mailed from every corner of Bierut’s Poland – people had had no choice but to participate in propaganda campaigns when told, –  but they rarely come to an open market.
